Las Vegas Etc.

It's been more than a month since I posted anything and I'm not too happy about that. I would say that it has to do a lot with the "miserable" weather we have had here but that's an easy way out of it. I've basically just been lazy and need to get back on my feet and start taking more photos and if I'm not out I need to work on my pp.

Well I was in Vegas last weekend for the first time. The architecture is top notch and I could not stop looking up. Here are two photos from the trip and I'm going to make sure to post at least two more times this week with more shots from the trip.
One thing I noticed is that my camera needs to be cleaned... BIG TIME! Anyone know of a good cleaner in socal?

Grapes

I was invited to Julian on Saturday to stomp on some grapes. It was my first time out to the Julian area, and while it's a nice place, I was not too impressed with the town. I guess I had pictured something different because ever since I moved here people keep telling me how beautiful Julian is, how the festivals are great, and how great the hiking is out in that area. Maybe I went on an off day or maybe its just a bad time of year.

Well back to the grapes! Grape stomping was fun though and I can now say that I've helped make some wine. Here are a few photos from the "festa."

My Disneyland

I'm back from a week in Yosemite and all I can say is WOW. This place is beautiful and it's tough to describe the feeling I got when I first entered the park. The only thing I can think of is that this is an adults Disneyland. It just seems so magical and everyday I would wake up and see that I'm in the valley of Yosemite and would think I was dreaming.

I spent most my days in the valley since my main objective this trip was to hike up to half-dome. I would have loved to visited Toulomne Meadow but it's tough to try and see the whole park in just one week. As I left I was already thinking of what to do and when to visit next.

I have a lot of photos to sort but this one from Glacier Point definitely caught my eye as I looked through the pictures.
