To Philly and back pt 1
It's been a few weeks since I got back from Philly but this past Sunday was the first chance I've really had to look through the photos from my trip. What a blast those few days were! I definitely needed a vacation from my vacation when I got back. It was great seeing everyone I saw and to whoever I didn't see, I'll make sure to see you during my next trip back.
I went back to Philly because Laura and I were invited to a very special day for two friends. Paul and Justina got married! I really love weddings and theirs was just lovely.
Funny thing, I was getting this post ready and I noticed that I didn't have any photos of the actual bride and groom in it! I fixed that though and threw one in from the ceremony and then another of their first dance. How strange would that have been to post about a wedding I went to and not show the two most important people there!
Enjoy
My Doppelganger
Got back from Philly a few hours ago. My first time back there since moving to San Diego almost two years ago! It was good to see many family and friends. It was also good to get all my "must-eats" completed while in Philly mmmmm.
Took this photo while hanging with JT and his awesome kids. My first thought when I saw this was that I looked just like Judge Doom from 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit.' Here's a side by side comparison. What do you think?
Empty beaches
The beaches here in San Diego seem to be lonelier than usual of late. I like this. A lot of the time I end up going to the bay nearby just to avoid the crowds at the beach. The bay is much more quieter and I have plenty of space around me. If the beach continues to be this empty, I might end up visiting the pacific this summer more than I planned to. I do live nine blocks from it, but you'd be suprised at how rarely I end up there on the weekend because of the crowds.
The photo below was taken midday over Memorial day weekend!
